Surface Station UK, incidentals

Recently I have been estimating Met Office meteorological sites to part of WMO 2010 standards as a possible extension of the surfacestations project managed by Anthony Watts of WUWT in the USA.

The UK project has until now been shown at Tallbloke’s Talkshop where I am co-moderator and one of the contributors. Daedalearth is my own blog where there is very little traffic.

See this article at the Talkshop as a primer. (opens in new browser window or tab)

The project first phase is complete (140+ sites done) except for one synoptic site, held back as too difficult to do justice to the mess.
